A non-disruptive message that appears at the bottom of the interface to provide quick, at-a-glance feedback on the outcome of an action. Snackbars communicate messages that are minimally interruptive.

Snackbar messages should be brief and confirm what just happened. Use full sentences with periods. Keep messages under ~80 characters.

Rules

  • Full sentences use periods
  • ~80 characters maximum
  • No "Oops", "Unfortunately", "Great!", "Awesome!"
  • Reserve exclamation points for genuine milestones only (first campaign sent, first integration connected)
  • Error messages should state what failed and offer a recovery path when possible
